The Sandwich South Historical Society welcomes Carolyn (McGuire) Gerard to the Oldcastle Cultural Centre (5520 Walker Road ) on Nov, 2nd at 2 p.m. Carolyn is a lifetime resident of the Sandwich South Community who has combined her artistic talent with historical research to focus on the early barns of the area. Carolyn has made it her mission to visually capture and memorialize these structures for future generations to enjoy before they all disappear. She will share, with the public, her many sketches and stories as well as conduct a sale and book signing for her recently published book.
This is a free event for the public but donations to the Historical Society are always appreciated.
